DumberOS September update
We have officially released the latest update today. Your phone should notify about this within a few days, and you can also update manually in Settings->System->Updates.
This patch includes a Wi-fi calling implementation for the Dumber Mini. You can enable Wi-fi calling in Settings->Network & internet->SIMs. This switches out the entire telephony/VoLTE framework, so if you encounter any connectivity issues, you can switch back to the old one in the same menu. Please also report any problems around calling and texting in this update, either at support@dumbermini.com or by submitting a bug report in the power menu.
We have received reports that the new telephony stack improves battery life in some situations, so if you've had trouble with that, it might be worth giving the option a try even if you don't use Wi-fi calling.
Last month we have created a special wiki where DumberOS users can post feedback on app compatibility. We have taken all the apps with positive results and added them to More Apps. The app lists are now also sorted by popularity and you can browse apps specific to your country, such as banking or mass transit.
We have fixed the low speaker volume issue on the Dumber Mini. This involved some tweaks that also affect regular earpiece volume, which might have gotten a bit loud now. Please let us know if you experience any volume issues - we'll keep working on this until everything is well-tuned.
