We are rebranding to Dumber OS and releasing Dumber Mini, our own phone model!

Dear customers and fans,

Things are moving fast at our small company and we are changing our name to Dumber OS due to a trademark dispute with Google LLC.

With that out of the way, we are announcing a new phone model! This is a custom-branded device called Dumber Mini! Compared to the Doov R77 Pro, it has better build quality, upgraded cameras, as well as the option to make NFC payments. Google Pay won't be available, but other apps such as Curve Pay and several NFC-enabled banking apps are supported. We will write more on this later! The operating system will be exactly the same as before, and we will provide equal software support for all previous devices. Dumber OS will stay open source as before.

As this will be a customized device with our own branding, we expect to ship the first units in July-August. This first batch will contain 1000 phones, with more, larger batches coming before the end of the year.

We have opened pre-orders for those of you who would like to reserve a unit in the first, early batch. We have already secured the funds needed for manufacturing, so you can freely cancel your pre-order before the shipment date. As with EU regulations, you may also return your device within 14 days of receiving it, provided that it's in a perfect condition. We will also provide 2 years of warranty, of course.

We will be working towards making Dumber Phone available in North America before the end of 2026.
